i won’t back down, i will stand my ground

Here’s a story of cute/fiesty super-powers, proving you’ve arrived, solidarity of ‘we’re in this together.’

I’ve met hundreds of dogs. All but one are smaller than me. But I’m bossy, crafty. I survive using my cute combined with my mind-tricks. Have you ever been in that situation?

“Yes, but in the human world, the standoffs are based on power moreso than physical size. Key is to be prepared, use jujitsu. If you feel strongly about something, stand your ground, don’t back down.”

We’re in Machu Picchu getting ready for the ascent. “Twinkles go pee.”

Next thing you know, turns out I was invading the Big Fella’s turf. It caught the eye of all around. Fellow tourist turned to Dad, “Aren’t you worried?”

“She’s fine.”

Remember the Chinese Gang? (Conquering Your Fear) Well look at me now. The Latin America UNLEASHED thing worked!  Here I am exerting my presence in the face of that muchiches.  He’s 20x my size.

“You know that’s the breed of El Libertador of Gran Colombia, Simon Bolivar’s dog. Navarro was loyal, stood by his dad battle.”

Twinkle y tambien. You know Mark Twain said, “It’s not the size of dog in the fight, it’s the size of fight in the dog.”

“Damn straight. Cute, fiesty, loyal is a solid combo.”
